We camped at Bellessise for 5 nights and had a perfect time. We wanted a quiet rural spot away from any crowds . And we certainly got that! We had a massive field to ourselves with beautiful views over fields and wooded countryside. Most of the time we could only hear the sounds of birds and insects - no traffic or humans. We saw deer and bats in the wood and heard plenty of other wildlife in the undergrowth. Phil, Cath, Liz and Dave were great hosts providing information and advice when we asked; friendly, entertaining conversation whilst giving us privacy and respect at all times. The facilities include a sophisticated composting loo in the field (which smells wonderfully of warmed sawdust), fridge and freezer, hot shower, use of washing machine, and a daily production of goodies from their small-holding of fruit and veggies and cakes (extra) as well as fresh water at the out building by the farmhouse. Would love to visit again and would definitely recommend if you're looking for a slice of heaven. Thanks guys, Perfect!
